The creation purpose of the related formulation is to suppress the side effects of the viral infection simultaneously during the reduction of viral load and to inactivate the virus itself directly at the end of the supportive treatment. While the related derivative of the icaride exhibits its antiviral nature through enzyme suppression and structural irreversible damage to the viral structure, panax ginseng does this simultaneously with both immunostimulant quality and direct virucidal action.
Standardized version of epimedium significantly inhibits the growth of most malignant cells. It also has important antiangiogenesis properties that completely inhibit or eliminate the growth of new malignant cells.
In addition, it has been reported that E. brevicornum and its major bioactive component icariin offer a variety of pharmacological actions, including osteoprotection, neuroprotection, cardiovascular protection, anti-inflammation, immunoprotection, and reproductive function.
